Educator. Writer. Consultant. Voice for Inclusive Leadership.

Welcome
Language is more than words. It is identity, connection, and power. I created this site for those who have been overlooked in classrooms, in systems, and in leadership tables.
For every multilingual girl searching for her voice.
For every educator working for change.
For every family that just wants to be seen.
I am Lul Yusuf, a mother, educator, writer, and advocate for equity and belonging. My journey began in a Swahili-speaking home in Kenya and now spans classrooms across the United States, doctoral research in educational leadership, and the creation of tools, stories, and spaces that center justice and joy.
Let us build a world where language liberates, not limits.
Where schools include, not erase.
Where every child is heard, in every language they speak.

Who I Am
I began my education journey in 2008 with the belief that schools should be places of joy, equity, and deep belonging. Since then, I have served as a teacher, coach, district leader, PhD candidate, consultant, and author.
My leadership is rooted in empathy, cultural responsiveness, and systems-level thinking. I build with heart and strategy so that no student, no educator, and no leader is left behind.
